Ajith to shoot with Sridevi for English Vinglish this weekend

It is confirmed that Ajith will shoot with Sridevi on Monday (Aug 13) at a Mumbai studio for her comeback film English Vinglish. Ajith is doing a cameo appearance in the Tamil and Telugu version of the film.
English Vinglish is directed by debutant director Gauri Shinde and produced by her husband ad filmmaker R Balki, the director of Cheeni Kum and Paa.
English Vinglish is the comeback movie of Sridevi after a 14 year sabbatical. The film also features French actor Mehdi Nebbou, Adil Hussain, and Priya Anand.
Amitabh Bachchan makes a guest appearance in the Hindi version of the film, which our Thala will do in the Tamil and Telugu dubbing of the film.
The audio launch of the film which has music by Amit Trivedi will also take place on August 13, which also happens to be Sridevi’s birthday. English Vinglish is slated for release on October 5 in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.
